KUROGANE means black iron.

We are an independent American label making heavyweight streetwear around one idea: a shirt should feel like it was made for the person wearing it, not pulled from a stack of thousands.

Every design starts with the samurai. Not the costume version. The discipline. The patience to do one thing properly. Our graphics are drawn from that world, kabuto helmets, ronin silhouettes, the rising sun, and each one is original artwork, made for KUROGANE and sold nowhere else.

The canvas is Ironcloth, our heavyweight cotton woven to 300 grams per square meter, about twice the weight of an ordinary tee. It holds its shape, drapes like armor, and gets better with wear.

Nothing here is mass produced. When you place an order, your piece is made for you and shipped with tracking. That is what forged to order means. It is slower than pulling a shirt off a shelf. It is also better.

We release in numbered drops. When a drop closes, its designs are retired. If you own a piece from Drop 01, you own part of the first chapter.

The cut is true oversized: boxy body, dropped shoulders, a hem that falls below the hips. Wear your usual size for the intended drape, or go one size up for more room. If the fit is not right, every order includes one free size exchange.
